Job description

The Quarterback is part of the New Stand Operations (NSO) team for assigned markets, helping bring each stand to life through leadership, training, operational excellence, and people development. This role works side-by-side with new Stand Leaders, crews, and Managers in Training (MITs) to build confident teams, a strong culture, and a high-energy environment that defines the 7 Brew experience from day one.

Quarterbacks continuously move from one NSO to the next throughout the year, supporting multiple openings based on business needs. Beyond helping open successful stands, this role plays a major part in developing future leaders by coaching, supporting, and challenging MITs throughout their training journey while helping create teams that are operationally strong, people-focused, and culture-driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES

NSO & Operational Support

  • Track stand readiness and hold new Stand Leaders accountable to NSO goals, timelines, and operational expectations before opening.
  • Train, coach, and support operational teams on Motley 7 Brew systems, standards, drink quality, speed of service, customer experience, cleanliness, and overall operational execution.
  • Provide in-depth training on operational platforms and procedures.
  • Ensure stands are fully prepared for opening through inventory oversight, ordering accuracy, cost control, and operational readiness.
  • Support Stand Leaders and operational teams during opening weeks through hands-on leadership, live shift coaching, and real-time problem solving to drive confidence, consistency, and successful stand operations.
  • Spearhead and execute Drink Drops for each NSO location to drive community engagement, brand awareness, and sales momentum.
  • Execute and support community hours, swag days, and local business partnerships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Training, Marketing, and Leadership teams.

MIT Program & Leadership Development

  • Assist with the oversight, development, and execution of the MIT program within your assigned market.
  • Serve as a primary coach and support partner for MITs by conducting regular check-ins to monitor growth, training progress, operational readiness, and overall development.
  • Hold MITs accountable to timelines, expectations, leadership standards, and development goals.
  • Identify leadership gaps and create action plans to support continued growth.
  • Partner with Stand Leaders and Operations Leadership to evaluate MIT performance, readiness for advancement, and placement needs based on operational demands.
  • Ensure MITs are properly trained on systems, culture, leadership expectations, and stand operations through classroom-style and live operational coaching environments.
  • Help build a strong leadership pipeline by developing future leaders who align with Motley 7 Brew culture and operational standards.
  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant, coffee, retail, or other high-volume service environments.
  • Open availability and ability to travel 4–6 weeks at a time, up to 70% annually, primarily within Georgia, with occasional out-of-state travel required.
  • Brings a high level of Energy, Urgency, and Enthusiasm to team environments
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
  • Strong operational knowledge with the ability to lead in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in coaching, developing, and holding leaders accountable to performance expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stands, and MITs simultaneously.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
