Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Subcontracts Specialist  to support contract administration, commercial operations, and risk management activities for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects across the power generation, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), data center, transmission, substation, and industrial infrastructure markets. This mid-level position is responsible for administering customer contracts, subcontracts, consulting agreements, purchase agreements, and vendor contracts while supporting project teams throughout the contract lifecycle. 

The Senior Subcontracts Specialist works closely with Contracts Management, Legal, Procurement, Project Management, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure contractual compliance, manage commercial documentation, and support successful project execution. 


Contract Administration 

  • Administer customer contracts, subcontracts, purchase agreements, consulting agreements, and vendor contracts throughout the contract lifecycle. 

  • Review contract documents to identify key commercial terms, obligations, deliverables, and risk areas. 

  • Maintain contract files, contract logs, and commercial documentation. 

  • Support contract execution and ensure required approvals are obtained. 

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and reporting requirements. 

  • Assist with contract closeout activities and final documentation. 

Commercial Support 

  • Support Project Managers and Operations teams with contract interpretation and administration. 

  • Assist with management of contractual correspondence, notices, and formal communications. 

  • Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, deadlines, and obligations. 

  • Support project teams in identifying potential contractual risks and opportunities. 

  • Coordinate contract-related communications with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. 

  • Assist with commercial issue resolution during project execution. 

Change Order & Claims Administration 

  • Manage change order tracking and documentation processes. 

  • Assist with preparation, review, and submission of contract modifications, amendments, and change orders. 

  • Maintain change order logs and commercial reporting tools. 

  • Support project teams in gathering documentation to support changes and claims. 

  • Assist with documentation related to schedule impacts, scope changes, and commercial disputes. 

  • Monitor approval status and implementation of contract changes. 

Risk Management & Compliance 

  • Review contract documents for compliance with company policies and procedures. 

  • Identify contractual risks and escalate concerns to Contracts Management and Legal teams. 

  • Monitor insurance requirements, bonding obligations, licensing requirements, and contractual compliance matters. 

  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews. 

  • Support risk mitigation efforts throughout project execution. 

  • Ensure accurate documentation and record retention practices. 

Subcontract & Procurement Support 

  • Support administration of subcontract agreements and procurement-related contracts. 

  • Assist Procurement and Supply Chain teams with commercial review of subcontractor and supplier agreements. 

  • Monitor subcontract compliance and documentation requirements. 

  • Support evaluation and resolution of subcontract-related commercial issues. 

  • Maintain subcontract logs and performance tracking records. 

Contract Reporting & Analysis 

  • Prepare contract status reports, commercial dashboards, and management summaries. 

  • Track contract milestones, expiration dates, renewals, and deliverables. 

  • Support reporting related to change orders, claims, subcontract administration, and commercial performance. 

  • Analyze contract data and provide recommendations to improve contract administration processes. 

  • Maintain commercial records and contract management databases.
