Job description


The role supports Solstice Advanced Materials global operations with a focus on defect prevention using Built-In Quality and Continuous Improvement tools. The position is heavily focused on LIMS, SPC, SAP Quality Tools and other digital applications.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and deploy effective digital Quality tools for Solstice Advanced Materials globally. These are some of the job requirements, however, there may be other responsibilities/actions assigned to this role at a later point in time based on departmental, operational and customer demand.
    • LabVantage8 LIMS enhancements, including migration of historic LIMS tools to the LabVantage platform. Serve as a primary Solstice Quality POC responsible for defining system needs, working with IT to create/test/deploy solutions, training users, and documenting the system in appropriate videos, guides or procedures.
    • Provides support to the Quality Engineer responsible for NWA SPC Deployment.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of the Solstice Quality Management Systems.
  • Analyze Quality data, take action to minimize losses and develop actionable items to mitigate recurrences.

Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
  • 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with LabVantage8, especially in the design and deployment of the system or related enhancements.
  • Prior experience with NWA SPC tool, preferably in the design and deployment of the tool or related enhancements.
  • Proven record of successful prior digital system deployment(s).
  • Knowledge of SPC/SQC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and basic statistical data analysis.
  • Built-In Quality and Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Practical experience with ISO 9001 and related activities.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and relevant standards & regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a global setting with personnel in a variety of functional areas and backgrounds. Communications will be in written, verbal English.
  • Good presentation, and storytelling, skills to present content to all different levels within an organization.
