Job description

Vinmar Recycling Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our team in Belmont, NC. In this role, you will be an essential part of our quality assurance efforts, responsible for conducting tests and inspections on plastic materials and products to ensure they meet our company standards and industry regulations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality production levels and identifying areas for improvement. The Quality Lab Technician will utilize various laboratory equipment and testing methods, analyze results, and document findings accurately. You will also collaborate closely with production teams to address any quality concerns promptly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory practices, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to quality management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality control in the plastics industry and dedicated to continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine tests on plastic raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document and analyze test results, preparing reports for management review.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Work closely with production personnel to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
