Hire Type: Direct Hire

Job Summary: Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. This role will use quality engineering tools, data analysis, auditing, and structured problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve product and process quality issues
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions related to customer concerns, audit findings, and manufacturing issues
  • Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, process flows, inspection methods, testing requirements, procedures, and other quality documentation
  • Analyze quality and manufacturing data using SPC, process capability studies, Pareto analysis, control charts, and other statistical tools
  • Support APQP, PPAP, MSA, Gauge R&R, process validation, and equipment/process qualification activities
  • Conduct internal process and quality system audits and support customer and third-party audits
  • Support new product launches and manufacturing process changes to ensure quality requirements are incorporated
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to improve process capability, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives
  • Maintain quality records and communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field
  • Quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process controls
  • Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA/FMEA, MSA, and SPC
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, and Pareto analysis
  • Experience with statistical analysis, process capability, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
