Job description

Quality Control Manager

Are you the person who notices a missed spot from across the room? Do you take pride in seeing a building look its absolute best?

At Woodley Building Maintenance, we don’t just "clean"—we create environments where people feel great. We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to be our "eyes and ears" in the field. This isn't a desk job. You’ll be out at our sites every day, making sure our teams are winning and our buildings are flawless.

Who You Are
  • Active & Alert: You love being on your feet and on the move. You’d much rather be on-site than stuck in a cubicle.
  • A Great Communicator: You can give feedback that helps the team grow.
  • Licensed & Ready: You have a valid driver’s license and are comfortable navigating the KC metro.
  • Tech-Friendly: You’re comfortable using technology to log your inspections.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • The Daily Walkthrough: You’ll visit our sites, catch the details others miss, and send quick, clear notes to our managers so they know exactly how to stay on top.
  • Keeping Preventative Maintenance Schedules: You’ll oversee the preventative maintenance (PM) schedule to ensure adherence
  • The Problem Solver: When a cleaning challenge pops up, you’re the expert who says, "Here’s how we fix this."
  • KC Festival Lead: You’ll lead our crews at 3–4 of Kansas City’s biggest weekend festivals each year. It’s high-energy, fast-paced, and keeps our city looking great.
  • The Director's Partner: You’ll report straight to the Director, giving them the "ground-level" truth on how our sites are performing.
