Description

A Columbus area multi-family property management company is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant. The successful candidate must have construction and/or maintenance experience along with excellent attention to detail. The candidate will be required to walk post-construction units on behalf of the property management company and have the knowledge and confidence to accept units once complete. ย The desired candidate will be responsible for providing and maintaining records of inspections, re-walks, escrow, acceptance and communication to Ardent property management. ย Employee is expected to represent the Metro and the "Owner" in a professional manner, giving attention to detail and maintaining quality standards consistently in all duties.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Walk multi-family communities post-construction notating any construction and maintenance issues to the construction team for repairs.
  • Following up and re-walking units after repairs are completed to ensure standards are met for the property management company.
  • Accept the post-construction units on behalf of the property management company.
  • Coordinate the walks of the communities with the construction team to ensure they are being completed in a timely manner and turned over to the property management team for lease up.
  • Keep records of all walks and sign-offs of units. Must be able to keep detailed logs to follow through to the end of the process.
  • Keep a detailed schedule and ensure projects are being completed.
  • Requires frequent travel throughout the city.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for significant amounts of time.
  • Must be trustworthy, self-motivated and a quick learner.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
  • Support the Metro environment that fosters teamwork and customer excellence.


Qualifications include:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in Property Management software
  • Flexibility in daily routine with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have an eye for detail
