Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) CLAD Consulting, Inc.


Clad Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) who
is CASQA-certified and responsible for traveling to job sites throughout California and/or Nevada and performing stormwater inspection duties. If you are someone that has prior QSP experience, education, or training, and looking for a field-based opportunity, this could be the role for you!

Position Summary: As a QSP, you will work closely under the direction of a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and provide support as needed, including conducting inspections, assisting with QSP delegate training and compliance, collecting samples, and completing standard documentation required under the 2022 California General Permit (CGP). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with QSP Delegate Compliance.
  • Perform monthly onsite inspections at job sites.
  • Complete monthly reports.
  • Manage or Track forecasts.
  • Track required inspections.
  • Review QSP Delegates Reports.
  • Sample as necessary.
  • Assist with Annual reports.

Ideal Candidate: Were looking for a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic field environments and takes ownership of building and maintaining a strong QSP culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 2022 CGP requirements and documentation, along with field experience in stormwater inspection and reporting. Your experience may include:

  • Certified as Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP).
  • Candidate seeking QSD status is desired.
  • 25+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with onsite SWPPP and/or linear construction desired.
  • Valid California Drivers License in good standing according to local and state laws along with valid insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the field.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather and terrain conditions.
  • Flexible with schedule (day or night shift).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage directly and work effectively with field and diverse project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in related computer software and technologies including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel onsite daily through various locations throughout California and/or parts of Nevada.

These are full-time positions requiring travel to various sites throughout California and/or parts of Nevada. We are looking for candidates in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The hours of work will vary based on project location and may require day or night work. The reasonable pay range is between $36.00 to $46.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer company-provided benefits including health insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay, 401k, and a company-provided vehicle.
