About the Role

The QMHA Mobile Crisis Worker provides trauma-informed crisis intervention, outreach, stabilization, and support services in homes, schools, hospitals, crisis respite settings, and throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to behavioral health crises in community settings
  • Participate in two-person mobile crisis response teams
  • Assist with crisis screening, safety planning, and stabilization
  • Coordinate referrals, transportation, and community resources
  • Support admissions and discharge planning for higher levels of care
  • Provide support and monitoring within crisis respite settings
  • Complete timely and accurate EHR documentation
  • Participate in trainings, supervision, and rotating on-call coverage

Required Qualifications

  • Meets QMHA requirements under Oregon Administrative Rules
  • Bachelor?s degree in behavioral science field OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in behavioral health, outreach, crisis services, or human services preferred
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Valid driver?s license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass required background checks
