Clinical SupervisorPosition Summary
The Clinical Supervisor  (Midlevel) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, analyzing, and supporting Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for assigned clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role works directly with clients, caregivers, and treatment teams to promote meaningful skill development, improve adaptive behaviors, and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based behavioral interventions.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support both clients and behavior technicians while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Assist with client assessments and treatment planning under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, analysis, and modification of behavior analytic treatment programs as approved by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect baseline data, conduct probes, and monitor client progress through accurate data collection.
  • Develop treatment materials, including stimuli, visual supports, data collection systems, and instructional resources.
  • Draft Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and other clinical documentation for BCBA review.
  • Write client histories, treatment objectives, instructional plans, and progress report updates.
  • Complete reports in accordance with funding source, insurance, and company guidelines.
  • Create visual representations of client data and analyze treatment effectiveness.
  • Conduct parent training sessions or assist with caregiver training as directed.
  • Communicate important client information to supervisors, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
Staff Training & Supervision
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance through direct observation, overlap sessions, evaluation forms, and other feedback methods.
  • Train staff in behavior management strategies using Behavioral Skills Training (BST).
  • Identify performance concerns and communicate them appropriately to management.
  • Evaluate supervision practices and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Attend and actively participate in treatment team meetings.
  • Attend weekly supervision meetings and monthly staff meetings.
  • Maintain timely communication with supervisors, administrative staff, technicians, caregivers, and clients.
  • Respond to company communications, including emails, phone calls, and text messages, during workdays.
  • Follow all company communication policies and procedures.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate daily records, including session notes, scheduling updates, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure treatment hours are scheduled and delivered according to prescribed recommendations.
  • Meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Human Services, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field required.
  • OR 
  • Bachelor's degree (in anything) + two years of experience implementing behavioral health treatment 

Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Certifications & Licensure
  • Current RBT, BCaBA, QASP-S, BCAT, or comparable credential required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • CPI or NCI training preferred.
  • Must maintain all required certifications, credentials, and professional training.
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Google Workspace (Gmail), and ABA software platforms such as Motivity and AlohaABA.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • 18 years or older
