Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Reports To

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Ownership

Position Summary

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) provides executive leadership and overall operational management of the nursing home. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and strategic growth while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all facility operations.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

  • Lead department heads through regular leadership meetings and performance reviews.

  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with CMS, State Department of Health, OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations.
