Job description

Role: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Top Three Skills:
1. Need to have experience building a test framework from scratch. The consultant needs to have been on an assignment where they have built a framework from scratch on their own. Our client is looking for an engineer to come in and be the go-to person for this.
2. 4+ years Experience working with Selenium (c#). Our client will be implementing these tools into their environment so they need a consultant with several years of experience using the tool and that knows how to effectively utilize it.
3.4+ years using visual studio. Our client will be implementing these tools into their environment so they need a consultant with several years of experience using the tool and that knows how to effectively utilize it.
Job Description:
  • Our client needs someone that has created an overall framework and strategy because they do not want to create something and then have to come back and make edits.
  • Lori has become the bottleneck of needing to learn this, but will take some time to catch up to speed.
  • Our client will be looking for a technical QA resource to start with in October.
  • They need someone who is more of a test engineer, that is experienced with test automation, preferably with 4+ years experience.
  • They need them to be able to set up a test framework from scratch, be experienced with Visual Studio test framework, .NET, Selenium (and possibly C#).
  • If the consultant has experience with the tool set Silk Central, Silk Test, or Silk Performer, that would be a bonus but not required. Also, if they have experience with mobile applications, and using Sauce Labs cloud execution environment, that would be extremely helpful.
