Job Summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, and SoapUI, along with extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-level automation frameworks.

Required Skills
  • 12+ years of QA/testing experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
  • Strong experience with Playwright automation
  • Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Strong API/Web Services testing experience using SoapUI
  • Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python for automation
  • API testing including REST/SOAP services
  • Experience with SQL/database validation
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
  • Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC/STLC
  • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira
  • Strong test planning, execution, reporting, and defect-tracking skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca, Playwright, and Selenium.
  • Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
  • Develop and execute API automation and web-service testing using SoapUI.
  • Create automated regression and end-to-end test suites.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT support testing.
  • Validate backend data using SQL and database queries.
  • Analyze failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain test cases, automation documentation, execution reports, and defect records.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Tricentis Tosca + Playwright + Selenium + SoapUI in the same enterprise environment.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
  • ISTQB or other QA certification is preferred.
