Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with business requirements
  • Utilize Tableau Prep and advanced Tableau features (LOD expressions ,parameters, calculated fields) to build scalable data solutions
  • Exposure to MicroStrategy for report development or migration.
  • Write ,optimize and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for efficient data retrieval
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and data driven solutions
  • Perform data analysis, data modelling, and data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
  • Leverage Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or similar libraries) for automating workflows, data processing, and API integrations
  • Ensure performance tuning and optimization of dashboards and queries
  • Create and Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers and business analysts and business users to deliver high quality solutions.
  • Ensure data governance , security , and compliance standards are adhered to across  reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support deployment , scheduling and maintenance of tableau reports on Tableau server.
  • Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
  • Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
  • Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm''s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development
  • Develop and support reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy
  • Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and stored procedures
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Proven Experience in handling large datasets and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and API integrations
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

  • Exposure to API-based data integration and automation workflows
  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain and understanding of domain- specific KPIs
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools related initiatives in analytics
  • Basic Knowledge of version control tools like Git.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
