- Monitor and control heat treatment processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to temperature measurement or heat treatment processes.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Maintain and calibrate pyrometry equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pyrometry processes.
- Train and mentor new team members on pyrometry techniques and processes.
- Communicate with customers to address any questions or concerns related to pyrometry.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in pyrometry technology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while carrying out pyrometry processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of pyrometry processes and results.
- Support/drive customer audits and partner with QA team
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of heat treatment processes

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Electrical Engineering preferred, but required.
- 5+ years of pyrometry or heat treat experience
- AMS2750 L1 or L2 certification preferred
- Experience interfacing with customers and vendors
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with associates across the enterprise
- Prior experience coordinating internal audits
