The Spa Front Desk Clerk accommodates and facilitates guest check-in and checkout by providing friendly, efficient and accurate service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with proper salutation and a smile, offering them a tour.
  • Accommodate guest's needs by booking, confirming or changing appointments.
  • Ascertain correct guest information and enter it accurately into the computer program.
  • Assess and act accordingly on any scheduling conflicts, guest challenges or other instances.
  • Answer the phone and book appointments as necessary and/or relay messages.
  • Provide current and detailed information about all hotel departments, services and hours.
  • Keep an accurate cash bank, making change and handling sales transactions.
  • Check guests out in a timely, accurate and concerned manner.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training and team efforts.
  • Log in lost and found items, following established lost and found policy.
  • Maintain organization and necessary supplies at front desk.
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

  • Must be service oriented, a self-starter, accurate and able to work with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate typical office equipment necessary.
  • Basic math and accounting skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills required.

Desired Skills:

  • Must be able to enter data and knowledge of hotel reservations systems helpful.
  • Minimum 1 year hotel or resort experience preferred.
