Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a part-time BE/BC Infectious Disease Physician to join our team and meet the growing demands for outpatient infectious disease services located at FPN Infectious Disease Lafayette in Lafayette, Indiana. We provide a team-oriented, family-like culture that empowers you to focus on your passion for patient care. We have a full support staff that works to make your job easier and keep focus on your patient's needs. Our team members all work together to ensure the extraordinary care of our patients.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills, with a strong focus on communication, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will be organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Physician will display exceptional interpersonal skills while working collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Traditional part-time schedule; No weekends or holidays

  • Call responsibilities: Average one night call every other week

  • Average outpatient volume: 10-12 patients per day

  • Collaborate with our inpatient ID Physicians and Nurse Practitioners witCallhin our Indiana Infectious Disease Department

  • General ID services in a community setting with:

    • Various surgical and medical specialties including Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Surgery & Orthopedics

    • Full Interventional Radiology, Cardiology and Gastroenterology

    • Infusion Center onsite

    • Wound Clinic onsite

    • Systemwide OPAT team

  • Strong mentorship opportunities
