Job description

As an Analyst I, working as the Functional Support Analyst, you'll be a key resource supporting the day-to-day operations of the Business Services Section. You'll coordinate requests, track activities, maintain records, and help ensure operational needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.
This is a diverse, hands-on role where you'll support programs including health and safety, emergency preparedness, security, employee onboarding/offboarding, asset and inventory management, purchasing, recycling compliance, and customer service. You'll work with staff, vendors, and other Department partners while using various systems to manage requests, data, and operational activities. If you're organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems and coordinating multiple priorities, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills while making a meaningful contribution to the Department's daily operations.

Working Conditions
At FI$Cal, we are compliant with the Governors Executive Order, N22-025, requiring staff to be in office four or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, California 95815. The FI$Cal system modernized how the state of California manages its finances and is one of the largest and most dynamic IT and business-transformation undertakings in California's history.
