Who we are:

Reliable Controls is dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of buildings around the world. Our team specializes in the design, development, and assembly of building automation controls and software programs. We're working hard to create solutions for building operators to enable the vision of Net-Zero Emissions by 2050.

Your mission:

As an Inventory and Receiving Clerk you’ll be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of materials across receiving, inventory management, and production support. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting production readiness. Operating within a structured electronics manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adhering to quality and traceability standards.

In this role you will:

  • Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders for accuracy and quality
  • Record material receipts accurately into inventory systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, MyCentre
  • Perform inventory adjustments and ensure correct application of general ledger (G/L) account numbers
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly cycle count reports and assist with inventory reconciliation
  • Utilize FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for all inventory movements and storage
  • Maintain well organized, clearly labeled inventory storage areas
  • Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate digital records
  • Monitor and support QEMS (Quality & Environmental Management System) compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
  • Assemble and issue kitted materials to production based on current schedules
  • Fulfill material requisitions and KanBan requests across production areas
  • Create and distribute run tracking documentation packages for production kits/runs
  • Maintain up-to-date production tracking and kitting status reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Quality, Accounting, and Production
  • Coordinate and prioritize outgoing shipments to meet production priorities and customer delivery requirements, including preparing shipping documentation scheduling carrier pickups, and ensuring on-time shipment execution.
  • Verify finished goods against shipping orders for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate shipping records in ERP systems, ensure proper packaging and regulatory compliance, and safely handle materials
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory and material handling

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • 2+ years' experience in inventory processing
  • Medium–high proficiency with ERP systems (we use Microsoft Dynamics GP)
  • Strong experience with receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and FIFO practices
  • Good knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and coordinating outbound shipments
  • Experience with material kitting, requisitions, and supporting production workflows
  • Familiarity with QEMS and ISO standards (9001/14001) is an asset
  • The ability to lift up to 60lbs

You’ll be successful in this position if you:

  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and data entry
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and can work cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Are eager to learn new systems and open to training on equipment

What we offer:

Competitive Compensation & Rewards: Your hard work and dedication don’t go unnoticed. We offer:
