Sodexo is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to manage purchasing operations for our food team at HMH JFK University Medical Center located in Edison, New Jersey. JFK University Medical Center is a 499 bed non-profit, acute care hospital. It is a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health system and operates as a teaching hospital for complex neurological and rehabilitation care 

What You'll Do

The Purchasing Manager will direct and oversee all purchasing, procurement, and inventories for the food service department. The Purchasing Manager will come with a culinary background, experience leading kitchen operations, teams, and inventory management. 

  • oversee all procurement, purchasing, and inventory management for food service department 
  • assist in managing pricing structure to meet food cost goals
  • analyze procurement and financial data
  • manage day to day supplier communications
  • monitor and control product inventory levels
  • implements procurement strategy and policies
