Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Marshall is currently seeking applicants for a Purchasing Manager.

Job Location:

Located in Marshall, MN just north of SMSU and located in the industrial park.

What you will be doing:

- Within established business process controls, ensures that staff is trained to plan, scope, and execute procurement activities.

- Work with suppliers and key suppliers on certifications, documentation, and scorecards

- Acts as lead negotiator for contracts and company liaison with outside vendors, including supporting buyers with follow up or escalation of orders.

Compliance support (ex. REACH, RoHS, CA65, TSCA, PFAS, CMRT/ERT, ECCD)

- Ensures the purchasing function is well staffed by selecting, developing, and evaluating team to ensure efficient operation and provide training for system upgrades as appropriate.

- Manages the plan for division wide procurement requirements and creates systems and policies as directed by senior management.

-Through team, ensures that supply levels and inventory goals are met for every function.

- Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reporting (ex. Inventory, Supplier Metrics, Capital Spending)

What you will bring along:

- 3+ years of prior experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, or demonstrated career growth through expanded responsibilities, decisionmaking authority, and leadership contributions.

- Bachelor's degree in related area.

Pay Range: $65,000-80,000 annually. This position is a full-time position.
