Job description

Parts Manager - Acheson, AB

Traveland RV is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Parts Manager to lead our busy Parts Department at our Acheson location. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader with strong inventory management, purchasing, and customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment. Preference will be given to candidates with direct RV industry experience; however, experienced Parts Managers from automotive, heavy duty, marine, agriculture, powersports, or related industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-today operation of the Parts Department
  • Manage inventory levels, purchasing, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
  • Ensure accurate inventory records & reporting within dealership CRM
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers
  • Work closely with Service and Sales Departments to support internal and retail customer needs
  • Monitor department performance, profitability, and key performance indicators
  • Provide on-the-job training for parts department staff
  • Compile and analyze monthly management reports
  • Ensure the quality of customer service provided by parts department
  • Attend weekly manager meetings

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience as a Parts Manager, Assistant Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service abilities
  • Strong computer skills and experience with dealership management systems
