SUMMARY

Come help us support the Supply Chain that builds Rockets! We are looking for high energy individual with exceptional attention to detail. The Inventory position provides critical support for launch operations, maintenance, IT and systems. Come be part of something special. This position is located at our launch site in Wallops, VA

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and signs of damage or defects.
  • Cross-check quantities, part numbers, and supporting documentation against procurement data to ensure order compliance.
  • Identify and reject inaccurate or unacceptable orders at the time of delivery.
  • Log received items and route inventoried parts to the designated storage area.
  • Record shortages or backorders and notify impacted parties.
  • Notify recipients upon delivery of their orders.
  • Ensure all deliveries requiring Quality Documentation are properly flagged, and report missing documentation per AS9100/AS9102 requirements.
  • Maintain Material Test Reports (MTRs) and externally provided quality inspection records.
  • Support Engineering by ensuring accurate and timely tracking of incoming orders.
  • Support Quality with recordkeeping, nonconformance reports, corrective actions, and audits.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging, labeling, documentation, Hazmat signage, and accuracy checks.
  • Support Procurement with documentation, returns, and related tasks.
  • Follow all safety regulations, including the consistent use of required protective clothing and equipment.
  • Execute purchase orders as required to support launch site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and consumables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support onsite operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of inventory experience
  • Proficiency with software systems and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform bending and reaching tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship, Real ID, and ability to pass a background check.

Desired:

  • Experience in a structured, automated receiving or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Odoo ERP/MRP systems.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • shipping and receiving experience.
  • Hazmat certification.
