Job description

We are a dynamic and growing company specializing in concession services in some of the country’s most scenic outdoor destinations. We are seeking a hands-on Purchasing Manager to support daily procurement activities while driving strategic sourcing, cost savings, and process improvements across nationwide operations spanning food amp; beverage, retail, lodging, and recreation.

This role blends operational execution and strategic leadership, working closely with site teams, operations leaders, and finance to ensure efficient, consistent, and cost-effective purchasing across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day purchasing needs across multiple sites and business units
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure timely sourcing for facilities, equipment, and supplies
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction plans
  • Identify high-spend categories and lead savings opportunities
  • Negotiate and manage national/regional vendor contracts and preferred supplier programs
  • Analyze spend data with Finance to establish baselines and track savings
  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and field-level purchasing procedures
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships focused on quality, value, and reliability
  • Support capital projects, site openings, and renovations with sourcing and logistics
  • Maintain contract documentation and ensure procurement compliance
  • Partner with IT to enhance procurement/ERP systems and reporting capabilities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–6 years of procurement experience (multi-site hospitality, recreation, or similar preferred)
  • Experience with vendor negotiation, contracting, and spend analysis
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; proficient in Excel
  • Experience with procurement systems/ERP preferred
  • Familiarity with AI tools in procurement a plus
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to write clear, practical procedures and guidance
