Salary Range: $89,590 - $111,990
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Your role
As an Assembly & Test Manager, your mission is to lead and drive performance in the Dry Pump Assembly & Test Cell, including oversight of a robotic paint shop. You will report to the Operations Manager.
You will:
  1. Manage and administer staff with particular emphasis on (a) the correct composition and headcount within the team, (b) the motivation and morale of employees, (c) personal development and, where, appropriate, career aspirations of each member of the team.
  1. Ensure regular communications with all employees are maintained in line with the Company and the Operation functions strategy. To foster upward communication.
  1. Continue to develop a team culture which is customer focused with a primary emphasis upon improved flexibility of operations (indirect as well as direct).
  1. Achieve agreed due date, quality, Health & Safety, housekeeping, cost reduction and new product introduction targets.
  1. Develop and promote the application of the continuous improvement process, both as a means of effective productivity improvement and as a method by which employee involvement in problem solving is increased. To develop and implement adequate and visible measures that are linked to continuous improvement.
