Job description

Join a well-established equipment manufacturer supporting critical pumping and fluid management operations. This team is looking for a hands-on Equipment Assembly Technician to support the teardown, repair, and reassembly of diesel-powered pump equipment within a shop environment. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical backgrounds ranging from entry-level automotive maintenance to experienced mechanics, who are looking to build their skills working on industrial equipment. Training will be provided on pump systems and repair processes.
Responsibilities
* Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble pump equipment and components
* Perform minor repairs and replace defective parts including filters, belts, and mechanical components
* Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues
* Perform regular maintenance work such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements
* Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and supporting repair processes
* Test equipment and components to ensure proper performance after repairs
* Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment for use or rental readiness
* Read and interpret basic technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must have basic mechanical experience in automotive, equipment, or similar hands-on work environments
* Must be able to identify basic diesel engine components such as filters, belts, and hoses
* Must have experience performing maintenance or mechanical repairs
* Must possess a personal set of basic hand tools
* Must have a valid driver"s license
* Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
