The Role:
As US Regional Sports PR Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering PR strategies and plans at a local and national level that drive impactful coverage of DAZN's growing regional sports portfolio. You'll work closely with DAZN's US Regional Sports team, other DAZN stakeholders and clubs, teams and leagues and be responsible for media relations, announcements and news flow, thought leadership, and executive visibility. And working closely with DAZN's Group Communication team, you'll ensure all messaging across channels is aligned and consistent. You'll be the main contact for regional press enquiries and manage agency partnerships.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000
This role can be based in New York. The internal job title is PR Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:
โ€ข Design and deliver DAZN's Regional Sports PR strategy in North America.
โ€ข Ensure all signings and announcements achieve maximum coverage and impact and contribute to DAZN's growing reputation among relevant audiences.
โ€ข Work closely with sports teams to ensure DAZN's narrative is effectively communicated and understood by their fans and partners.
โ€ข Build solid relationships with local media in all relevant regions as well as key national media and ensure that DAZN's narrative is well understood (sports, tech, and business media).
โ€ข Maintain face-to-face relationships in all relevant regions, which will require flexibility for regular travel.
โ€ข Craft impactful stories that drive awareness, engagement, and credibility.
โ€ข Design and deliver impactful events to enhance relationships and understanding of DAZN
โ€ข Create and execute a well-thought through calendar of speaking opportunities for DAZN spokespeople which makes best use of their time.
โ€ข Handle reactive and proactive media relations.
โ€ข Represent DAZN at events and meetings.
โ€ข Identify and respond quickly to any issues that may harm DAZN's reputation.
โ€ข Ensure full alignment with the global brand, legal, and leadership teams.
What You'll Bring:
โ€ข 5+ years of relevant experience in Consumer PR, media relations or consumer journalism with a solid understanding of PR and media relations at a regional / local level.
โ€ข Good knowledge and understanding of:
o NBA and NHL sports
o Streaming and entertainment
โ€ข Strong press relationships with writers, editors and outlets covering the sports, tech, and entertainment sectors and proven experience of building new relationships.
โ€ข Expertise in consumer and digital media storytelling.
โ€ข Excellent writing, editing, and media pitching skills.
โ€ข Experience of managing PR agencies to goals and budget.
โ€ข Calm under pressure, strategic in a fast-paced setting.
