Job description

The Lede Company is seeking a PR Account Executive to join the team in our Los Angeles office. The Account Executive will play an integral role in supporting fashion, lifestyle and cpg clients and will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness
  • Lead select client programs and campaigns from planning to execution
  • Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a team member on client accounts
  • Oversee junior team members to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring them
  • Manage day-to-day client tasks, including being responsive to incoming client communications and requests
  • Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc.
  • Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agencies
  • Support onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotions
  • Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients
  • And other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years PR, media relations, and account management experience in the fashion, lifestyle and cpg verticals; agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing
