What is artificial intelligence public relations?

Artificial Intelligence Public Relations (AI PR) refers to the use of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance and manage the communication strategies of organizations. AI PR professionals leverage tools like chatbots, media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and data analytics to understand public perception, create targeted messaging, and respond to media inquiries more efficiently. Their role involves both using AI to improve traditional PR tasks and managing the public image of AI products or companies. Job description

About IMG
Interior Marketing Group (IMG) is a founder-led interior design and staging company serving luxury real estate and ultra high net worth clientele. Led by Cheryl Eisen, IMG partners with brokers, developers, buyers, and celebrities to bring properties to life through interior design and staging, coupled with integrated marketing campaigns of branded events, press, social media, editorial photography, and more. With teams across New York, Los Angeles, and Florida, IMG has built a reputation as the "billionaire whisperers". IMG and its founder have built a strong presence in the media, appearing in top tier publications like Architectural Digest and Forbes, and on popular television shows on Netflix, Bravo, and NBC.
The Role
IMG is seeking a Public Relations Intern to support our PR & Marketing team in New York City. This role will report directly to our Director of Public Relations, Ashley Dindinger. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to press relations, media outreach, and event execution within the luxury real estate and interior design space. You'll gain real agency-style PR experience with a recognized design brand by working closely with our Communications and Marketing teams on live press initiatives, partnership outreach, and brand-building events.
Responsibilities
  • Press & Media Outreach
    • Assist with building IMG's media contact database of journalists, editors, and media contacts across design, lifestyle, and real estate outlets.
  • Communications Support
    • Draft press releases, media pitches, and internal talking points that align with IMG's brand voice and current projects.
    • Support day-to-day PR & Marketing team needs, including calendar coordination, deck preparation, and cross-team communication.
  • Partnerships
    • Support outreach to potential brand and media partners.
  • Event Support
    • Help coordinate logistics for press previews, launch events, and brand activations, including vendor communication, guest lists, and on-site support.
  • Media Monitoring
    • Monitor coverage, compile clip reports, and help maintain an organized archive of press hits and media assets.

You should apply if you're...
  • Outgoing: Comfortable initiating conversations, building relationships, and representing IMG with press, partners, and clients.
  • Self-Starting: Takes ownership of tasks and projects with minimal hand-holding; anticipates next steps.
  • Ambitious: Motivated to grow within a fast-paced, high-visibility luxury brand and take on real responsibility.
  • Continuous Learner: Curious and coachable; seeks feedback and applies it quickly.
  • Flexible & Organized: Strong time management with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Collegiate Junior / Senior, or Graduate Student currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interest in real estate, interior design, or luxury lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiency across Google Workspace; comfort with social platforms a plus.
  • Able to be available on-site in New York City 2 days per week, with flexibility for occasional event support outside standard hours.
