Job description

MUSC Health- Florence Medical Center is seeking 2 BC/BE Gastroenterologists to form an inpatient only gastroenterology service. This service will be a seven-on-seven off model doing inpatient consults and performing inpatient endoscopy. This team will collaborate with busy gastroenterology practice with 1 other Gastroenterologist and 2 Nurse Practitioners and is growing. MUSC Florence is a 396-bed facility that serves as a tertiary care center in the region. in Florence, SC and has patients referred from all over the region. Florence is centrally located to many desirable locations that are just a short drive away, including Myrtle Beach, SC, Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC. Florence offers excellent schools, both public and private options, and an affordable cost of living. Commute times to most desirable locations within Florence are no more than 20 minutes or less and excellent weather year-round.

About this position:

  •  7 on 7 off schedule
  • ERCP and EUS procedure experience preferred but not
  • Hospitalist and intensivists are GI is a consult only service.
  • Endoscopy Lab and office conveniently located within steps of one
  • Excellent medical, surgical, and critical care support
