**This position is for someone that has a minimum of one-year field experience and is able to get in a van and start performing service.  School is not considered field experience.**
Responsibilities for this position includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of PTACs. A Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) is a ductless, through-the-wall heating and cooling system that is normally used in apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, and senior living facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Diagnose PTAC units
  • Sell new units and Service Plans
  • Repair and install PTAC Units
  • Replace and upgrade existing Wall Sleeves
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance
  • On occasion assist with HVAC jobs
  • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts and equipment are stocked
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, company uniforms, and other related company property
  • Travel to customer properties and perform work on-site
  • Electronically submit paperwork related to completion of job duties
Requirements:

  • One to three years experience in HVAC and/or PTAC service and installation.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Must be well groomed and have a neat appearance.
  • Provide customer service through quality communication to customers.
  • Must be able to write and speak English clearly.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and be able to fulfill the physical demands required.
  • EPA Certified
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Pass drug test
