Job description

Job Title: Provisioning & Configuration Supervisor
Location: Moss Point, MS
Position Overview: A Provisioning & Configuration Supervisor coordinates and supervises the daily tasks and functions of the provisioning and configuration data analyst personnel within the facility. This position requires frequent communication with customers and vendors, efficient handling of schedules and metrics, and strict adherence to contractual deadlines and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate both provisioning and configuration status accounting (CSA) staff, managing schedules and setting clear priorities.

  • Produce and manage budgets, schedules, and metrics related to provisioning and CSA.

  • Supervises the development of provisioning and related logistics products in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members, providing updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • One (1) to three (3) years of management experience.

  • College degree in business or related field preferred.

  • Some knowledge of database administration and maintenance (Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or Oracle) a plus.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Understanding of Mil-Standards and Guidance Documents associated with Provisioning and Configuration processes and procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of provisioning and configuration software's.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) with an understanding of internet applications.

  • Knowledge of Ships Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, ship locations and bill of materials.
