Assistant Operations Manager

Exciting Opportunity for an energetic individual interested in being at the heart of operations for a dynamic electromechanical service organization. Krauth Electric Company, based in Louisville, Kentucky, has been the premier provider of industrial equipment repair in this region since 1911. This small family owned business is looking for a highly organized individual to be at the heart of operations processes. The ideal candidate will thrive on performing a variety of tasks in an industrial customer service environment.

*Process improvement experience is a huge plus!

*Qualified person will collaborate with management personnel in an effort to properly direct and influence technicians and the work they perform.

*He or she will coordinate all customer service-related activities pertaining to service jobs, ordering inventory, and maintaining work flow.

*This go getter will coordinate with other departments to provide all appropriate documentation.

*Qualified person will have either a Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years equivalent industrial work experience.

*The position will have a highly technical focus, so engineering background is a plus.

*High attention to detail is a requirement.

*Pay is commensurate with experience but likely will be in the $75000 to 85000 range.

*Qualified person has potential for signing and service bonus. Eligibility for most benefits is after 60 days of employment. Benefits include 401k Retirement Savings, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Supplementary Programs, Paid Vacation and Holidays and the benefit of working for a company where everyone knows your name!

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Operations Manager supports the day-to-day execution of repair and service operations by coordinating workflow, maintaining job documentation, supporting customer communications, and assisting with scheduling and material availability. The position works closely with the Operations Manager, technicians, purchasing, accounting, and customers to ensure jobs move efficiently through the repair process. The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for executing established processes, maintaining operational records, identifying issues requiring management attention and providing operational support.
