This role is a sales and business development role focused on building provider networks in new markets. The person in this role would be on the front lines of growing ZERO's footprint by finding, reaching out to, and signing healthcare providers to contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provider Recruitment: Outreach potential healthcare providers to contract with ZERO in new markets. Building networks from 0 to 1. Ensuring Zero has robust provider markets across critical specialty categories. Ensure providers are of high quality. Utilise various tools, reports, and methods to discover new opportunities and contact details (e.g., phone, email, LinkedIn, healthcare directories).
  • Outreach & Engagement: Initiate contact with potential provider partners via phone, email, and other communication channels. Craft personalized outreach strategies to engage with decision-makers at healthcare organizations. Continue to engage provider partners throughout the contracting process.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Building networks means getting contracts signed. Building networks for Zero means getting the right contracts signed at the right price. You will negotiate with prospective providers, working closely with sales, provider success and analytics teams to establish mutually beneficial agreements.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar role, in the healthcare
  • 3-5 years negotiating provider/payer contracts
  • Preferred experience working with bundled services contracts.
  • Experience working directly with physicians, surgeons, clinics, hospitals
  • Strong understanding of provider revenue cycle
  • Strong understanding of self-funded insurance plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field
