Job description

GSK invites driven analytics professionals for the role of Manager, Market Access Payer & Provider Account Analytics. Positioned within the US Market Access Operations & Analytics division, this role is responsible for delivering impactful payer and provider account analytics that support commercial and contracting strategies across the GSK portfolio.

This Manage will play a key role in recommending, influencing, planning, and executing analytical solutions that support US Market Access strategic priorities by applying advanced analytics and healthcare data expertise to inform payer and provider engagement strategies, support pre- and post-deal contracting evaluations, analyze market access performance and access trends, and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.

We are looking for an innovative thinker who can use their expertise in healthcare analytics to identify opportunities, answer complex business questions, and develop data-driven solutions that inform strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Healthcare Data Fluency: Leverage diverse healthcare data sources including pharmacy claims, medical claims, formulary data, covered lives data, and other real-world evidence assets to answer critical business questions and quantify market dynamics.
  • Contracting & Account Analytics: Support payer and provider contracting decisions through pre-deal and post-deal analytics. Evaluate contract performance, coverage dynamics, access measures, and utilization trends to support business decision making.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build effective working relationships and collaborate with Market Access Strategy, Strategic Accounts, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Identify strategic business needs, develop analytical approaches, generate insights, and communicate findings that help guide market access and account strategies.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply predictive analytics, and advanced analytics (including AI/ML techniques) to generate actionable insights and enhance business decision making.
  • Data Storytelling: Prepare and present analytical findings to a variety of stakeholders through clear and compelling narratives. Translate complex analytical results into actionable recommendations that support strategic decisions.
  • Market Access Insights: Conduct analyses that evaluate payer coverage, formulary access, reimbursement, utilization management, provider adoption, healthcare utilization, and account performance. Identify risks, opportunities, and trends that influence Market Access strategies.
  • Innovative Approaches: Identify novel approaches and new data sources to address critical Market Access business needs and shape Market Access strategies through data-based decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Partner with internal Market Access data teams, Tech, BU data/analytics teams, and GSK Privacy/Legal to ensure compliant and effective use of healthcare data
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide insights that support the continuous improvement of processes and analytical tools.
  • Project Management: Deliver results while effectively managing and prioritizing workloads across multiple projects and timelines. Oversee analytical projects and vendor-supported deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution.


Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related).
  • 4+ years of data and analytics experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in US pharma/healthcare industry analytics position analyzing US healthcare data.
  • Experience querying databases and analyzing data using SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience translating business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Health Economics, or related field)
  • Knowledge of payer and provider contracting dynamics, including formulary access, reimbursement, utilization management, and account strategy.
  • Experience working with healthcare utilization and insurance data, including pharmacy claims, medical claims, formulary, coverage, or covered lives data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple analytical projects with shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting contract analytics, market access performance measurement, provider analytics, reimbursement analytics, or account planning activities.
  • Experience applying machine learning, AI, or advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting, optimization models) to business problems
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions through analytical insights and stakeholder engagement.
