The Data Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all ERP system data to provide consistency in data and reporting for all end-users. This includes all data within the ERP system related to SKUs, vendors, and store attributes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency of all master data across the ERP system, such as hierarchy, UPC and vendor data.
  • Maintain the entire life cycle of a SKU. This includes the creation of a SKU and all system maintenance such as adjusting Product Status, updating Assortment parameters, and managing the vendor record relationship to the SKU.
  • Manage the replacement SKU process in partnership with the Merchandising team.
  • Identify data errors and prescribe solutions for eliminating them.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards for the ERP system.
  • Create exception reporting to proactively identify potential issues and take action accordingly.
  • Develop automation for repetitive tasks when applicable.
  • Aid stores in maintaining Location Code integrity
  • Coordinate data migrations for acquisition stores.
  • Perform new store set up within ERP system.
  • Support all data needs for store physical inventories, including file exchange between ARG and third-party inventory company and all store-facing variance reporting.
  • Provide support to stores via ticketing software. This includes answering store questions that may require research and analysis to recommend a resolution.
  • Supply data to other Support Center departments that provides actionable insight to support strategic decision-making.
  • Execute temporary and discontinued markdowns with the system.
  • Implement price and cost changes within the system in partnership with the Pricing team.
  • A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required along with the ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all store associates, field operations team, and the Support Center personnel.

Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
BS/BA Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
