Job description

Position: Seasonal Media Liaison
Department: Media Initiatives
Salary: $19 - $21
Salary Grade: Part Time, Non-Exempt
Statement of the Job: The Seasonal Media Liaison, reporting to the Project Manager, Media Initiatives, escorts third-party photo/video personnel during concert captures at all ticketed LAPA venues (Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, The Ford) without compromise of venue media standards and protocol.
This role is expected to begin in early June 2026 and is anticipated to conclude at the end of October 2026.
Essential Functions:
  • General Administration
    • Advise on-site Artist photo/video personnel regarding approved capture positions and venue protocol
    • Assist with providing waivers to appropriate on-site personnel (whether internal or relative to Artist)
    • Traffic waivers signed on-site to appropriate LAPA personnel for countersignature and/or filing

  • Audio & Video Captures
    • Escort third-party video and photography teams for approved rehearsals and performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl and The Ford
  • Assist Project Manager, Media Initiatives, and the media initiatives team with all other duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Considerable tact required in most duties or tasks performed to achieve results.
  • Computer literacy; ability to work with spreadsheet, scanner/copier, Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Calendar, Monday.com
  • Must be able to work assigned hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Consistent availability, punctuality, and follow-through with scheduled shifts
  • Ability to sustain extended periods of walking and standing while escorting artist media throughout concert venues
  • Ability to follow venue protocols and time-sensitive directives
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, live-event environments with minimal supervision
  • Calm adaptation to last-minute changes in schedules, access, or artist requests
