Job description

Elevator Services Group is looking for a Outgoing Outside Sales Representative who has at least 3 to 5 years doing inside sales selling products . Prefer Elevator experience but not required. We are open to taking peopel with industrial sales, construction, manufacturing, ect.      Typical Job Duties: Quoting/estimating elevator  products and

systems to the elevator industry. Proactively contacting current and prospective customers in efforts to develop and increase current sales levels with phone, Providing customer service sales. Preparing cost estimate for elevator products. Attending to sales calls and inquiries.

This job is all about consistently delivering a winning customer experience during phone and email interactions.

The purpose of this role is to do business to business sales to prospect to customers calls by engagingly; listen carefully and ask questions to determine customer needs; and when appropriate, to schedule customer appointments with the appropriate field sales or service colleague.

Primary Responsibilities

Take calls from prospects and customers.

  • Establish rapport and credibility (personal and company).
  • Qualify call-in prospects. Gather pertinent information regarding their situation and environment, and make a preliminary determination of their needs, budget and decision-making authority. Clearly explain the value we offer, based on each prospect’s specific needs.
  • For current customers having an issue or concern, collect sufficient information about the product or service in question, then route to the appropriate colleague for action

● Share pertinent information about prospects or customers to the sales, installer & service (“field”) teams.

● Maintain customer files in an organized and confidential manner.

● Prepare preliminary quotations or work orders for field staff, and store them electronically.

Secondary or occasional responsibilities:

Close the sale when prospects want to commit.

Greet prospective customers who come directly to the showroom without an appointment, then connect them to appropriate sales or service staff.

Occasionally, respond to prospects that choose to approach us through email or social media. Enter these prospects into our system and forward it to the appropriate staff member.

Assist current customers to resolve simple issues by walking them through documented “quick fixes”.

Occasionally, assist with the planning and execution of outbound marketing campaigns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
