About your role:

At Fiserv, a successful Proposal Analyst plays a key role in supporting the sales organization by analyzing and structuring complex deals for financial institutions, ensuring the inclusion of correct solutions, contractual terms, and pricing elements. By bridging the gap between sales, finance, legal, and other departments, the proposal analyst streamlines the sales process and optimizes deal profitability.

What you'll do:

  • Review sales deals to ensure compliance with pricing policies and provide guidance on deal structure to optimize revenue and minimize risk.
  • Assist with ensuring the pricing proposal and deal terms are accurate.
  • Assist in reviewing pricing proposal materials and ensuring that proposals are tailored to meet client's needs while aligning with the Fiserv solution offerings.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, legal, and other departments to streamline the deal process and ensure timely response to internal and external clients.
  • Ensure deals comply with revenue recognition guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Manage the entire pricing deal process from client request to contract closeout.
  • Track deal metrics and trends, providing insights to stakeholders on deal performance and potential areas for improvement.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • Recent graduate of bachelor's degree program in finance, accounting, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands during end of month, end of quarter and end of year.
  • Strong writing experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to understand and articulate client's business requirements and synthesis from multiple sources into a cohesive and persuasive final proposal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with various levels across the organization.

What would be great to have:

  • 1-2 years of experience with financial institution account processing systems - Deal Desk, Finance Operations, Sales Operations, or Pricing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in sales processes, pricing strategies, and contract terms.

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
