Job Title: Contract and Proposal Specialist

Location (city, state): Peoria, AZ

Compensation: $70,000 annually (Direct Hire)

Industry: Defense Equipment

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization in the defense equipment space that is experiencing increased demand and expanding its contracts and proposal team. This is an onsite opportunity offering long-term stability and growth.

Job Description:

The Contract and Proposal Specialist will support the preparation, coordination, and administration of proposals and contractual agreements. This role works cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all documentation related to bids and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize proposal documentation in response to customer and bid requirements
  • Review contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, legal, operations) to gather required inputs for proposals and contracts
  • Track deadlines and manage timelines for proposal submissions and contract execution
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documentation and updates
  • Assist in identifying risks or discrepancies within agreements and escalate as needed
  • Support ongoing contract administration, including modifications and renewals

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of two (2) years of experience in procurement, contracting, or proposal development.

·        Experience with government contracts and public sector procurement strongly preferred.

·        Proven ability to draft and manage complex contracts, solicitations, and technical documentation.

·        Strong ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content.

·        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English).

·        Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
