Job description

RMF is a specialized MEP Engineering firm dedicated to serving clients from our 12 offices in the eastern US. Our talented and dedicated staff are committed to technical excellence and a high level of service, and we have thus enjoyed continuous growth over our 43 years in business.

The growth of the practice combined with our migration to Vantagepoint as our CRM platform has created the need for a person to manage the flow of information within our firm and to monitor the quality of entry, access to, and output from this system.

The Knowledge Manager Specialist  is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete data within Deltek Vantagepoint used throughout the firm. This position serves as the primary owner of project, client, employee, and business development data, ensuring consistency, accuracy across the firm.

(Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually. RMF considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.)

Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain project, client, contact, employee, and pursuit information in Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Review and update records to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Establish and maintain standardized naming conventions and data entry procedures.
  • Monitor databases for duplicate, outdated, or inaccurate records and perform regular cleanup activities.
  • Process project setups, client updates, employee information, and organizational changes.
  • Perform regular audits to identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect information.
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with department managers.
  • Maintain documentation of data management procedures and workflows.
  • Assist with data validation for proposals, project tracking, and business development activities.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding database processes and data standards.
  • Assist users with locating, updating, and maintaining information in Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Support special projects related to data collection, migration, and process improvement.
  • Assist in managing a searchable photo and graphic asset library.
  • Create website case studies with a cohesive look, feel, and functionality.
  • Facilitate the dissemination and sharing of knowledge throughout the firm.

Requirements
