ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator located in Vienna, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting ActioNet corporate Proposal Managers in all aspects of planning and development activities associated with preparation and submission of Federal Government proposals.
Salary:  Up to 95K
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for administering proposal processes, providing configuration management, providing guidance and assistance to authors, administering proposal related resources, and preparing proposal related artifacts. The Proposal Coordinator plays a very important role in the development of 100% compliant, compelling, and winning proposals. The Proposal Coordinator assists the Proposal Managers in all aspects of proposal development - Requests for Proposal (RFP) analysis, Kick-Off meetings, Daily Status Calls, Proposal Development, Color Reviews, Proposal Production, etc. The Proposal Coordinator also leads the preparation and handling of weekly reviews for opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Authors, Artists, Program Managers, Support Leads, etc.
  • Analyze RFPs/RFQs/RFIs/Etc.
  • Create proposal templates, outlines, compliance matrices, and production checklists
  • Coordinate proposal schedule development and maintain visibility on progress
  • Coordinate and prepare proposal meetings and reviews (invitations, resources, visitors, meals, materials, etc.)
  • Research and help collect/develop re-usable material for individual authors
  • Edit and format documents
  • Manage proposal document production (color review versions prep including white glove version prep, electronic submission creation, printing, binding, shipping (for hard copies as necessary), etc.)
  • Write lessons learned report - collect and compile input
  • Assist Proposal Managers with other duties as assigned, for example, metrics tracking, compliance reviews, quality reviews, etc.
  • Administer and maintain proposal knowledge management repositories and databases for Proposal Content, Graphics, Corporate Experience, Re-usable Assets, and Resumes
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of proposal support, and technical writing experience a plus
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint) and basic desktop publishing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience working in a proposal center
  • Solid understanding of the government proposal process
  • One or more of the following certifications:  Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Professional Certification,  Shipley Capture and Proposal Management Training, ITIL IV Certification.  

Experience using and updating SharePoint knowledge management repositories
