Job description

Business Development & Proposal Coordinator

Location:  Colorado Springs, Colorado (On-Site)

Reports To:  Business Development Manager

Maytag Aircraft is seeking a Business Development & Proposal Coordinator to support the company's growth initiatives across the Department of Defense and Federal Government markets. This position provides administrative, analytical, and operational support to business development, capture, and proposal activities while maintaining opportunity data and supporting customer engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate possesses prior experience supporting government contractors and understands the federal acquisition environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

         Maintain and track business opportunities within CRM and pipeline systems.

         Monitor SAM.gov, GovWin, and other procurement sources for upcoming opportunities.

         Coordinate customer meetings, industry events, and internal business development activities.

         Support proposal and capture teams with document preparation and compliance tracking.

         Assist in maintaining capability statements, presentations, and marketing materials.

         Maintain past performance databases and contract reference information.

         Support teaming agreement and subcontractor coordination activities.

         Manage proposal libraries and corporate templates.

         Prepare reports and metrics for the Business Development Executive.

         Coordinate internal action items and meeting schedules.

Qualifications

         Bachelor's degree preferred.

         Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting business development, proposals, contracts, or operations within a government or defense contracting environment.

         Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government customers required.

         Familiarity with FAR-based procurements preferred.

         Experience with SAM.gov, GovWin, CRM systems, or similar business development tools preferred.

         Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
