Are you a natural leader who loves creating vibrant communities and delivering exceptional resident service? We're looking for an experienced Property Manager to lead the daily operations of our 108-unit apartment community in the heart of Metairie — Premises apartments.

At 1st Lake Properties, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by creating an outstanding living experience for our residents while leading two successful communities. What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Deliver an exceptional resident experience by responding to questions and resolving concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Inspire and work closely with your maintenance and leasing teams to keep the community running smoothly.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Oversee property maintenance, coordinate repairs and capital improvements, and maintain outstanding curb appeal.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate resident, lease, and financial records.
  • Market available apartment homes and help drive occupancy.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents to increase satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare reports and monitor community performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing and apartment operations.
  • Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions.
  • Experience overseeing property maintenance is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AppFolio is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
