Job description

Legacy is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 118-unit community in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Property Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the property, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional resident satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain compliance, and deliver high-quality service.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years of property management experience required; direct Property Manager experience preferred
  • Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Section 8 housing programs required.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, receivables, and payables 
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing laws required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Experience with Yardi preferred 
  • Current Real Estate License preferred; otherwise, candidates must be willing to obtain licensure and initiate the process following 3 months of employment.
