Job description
Do you thrive on solving problems, building strong relationships, and leading teams to success? Legacy is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 118-unit community in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Property Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the property, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional resident satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain compliance, and deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of property management experience required; direct Property Manager experience preferred
- Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Section 8 housing programs required.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Working knowledge of budgeting, receivables, and payables
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Yardi preferred
- Current Real Estate License preferred; otherwise, candidates must be willing to obtain licensure and initiate the process following 3 months of employment.
