Position Overview

Player Development Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with valued guests, increasing guest loyalty, and supporting the growth of the Company's player development program. This role serves as an ambassador of The Casino @ Dania Beach by delivering exceptional guest service, promoting property amenities, events, and rewards programs, and creating memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visitation.

The Player Development Executive supports the Company's Mission of bringing excitement and enjoyment in an inclusive environment and embraces our Vision of being an entertainment company in constant evolution, and through personalized service, relationship building, and guest engagement, this position promotes and demonstrates the Company's Core Values.

Working closely with the Player Development Manager and other departments, this role contributes to guest retention, player growth, and the overall success of the organization by fostering long-term relationships and delivering exceptional service experiences.

Description of Duties:

  • Must be able to promote the facility by contacting perspective members.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain business relationship with patrons.
  • Must be able to meet assigned monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly goals.
  • Must understand and follow Title 31 and KYC guidelines.
  • Maintains and develops a database of high-volume players.
  • Maintains comp inventory.
  • Issue complimentary items or other offers to guests as play and property guidelines warrant
  • Provide information to team and property leadership related to guest feedback, suggestions, concerns or issues
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions for Player Development program
  • Analyze coded and potential high-worth player data
  • Accurately maintain player development reports and spreadsheets.
  • Has full understanding of facility’s features, amenities and systems.
  • Recruits and registers new members, explains Club benefits and rules and validates promotional points.
  • Stays updated on promotions, special events, etc. to be able to competently inform guests.
  • Organizes onsite and offsite special events for high end players.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Casino experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and patron relations skills.
  • Must have keen attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and problem solve.
  • Must be able to work closely with team members, departments, and management to achieve organizational goals.
  • Must be willing to learn Players Club system.
  • Must be flexible and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
  • May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted.
  • Candidates must not be subject to any contractual, legal, or employment-related restrictions that would prevent them from accepting or performing the responsibilities of this position.
  • Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
  • Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the casino property, including the gaming floor, restaurants, entertainment venues, back-of-house areas, and outdoor spaces.
  • Ability to interact with guests for prolonged periods while maintaining a professional, friendly, and engaging demeanor.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds, including promotional materials, event supplies, and guest gifts.
  • Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional guest service and attention to detail.
  • May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted.
