Job description

About USA MDU Solutions

USA MDU Solutions is part of USA Groups, a growing group of construction, trade, and building service companies based in Sarasota, Florida. We focus on residential, commercial, and multifamily construction services, including renovations, remodels, property improvements, and project-based construction work.

We are looking for a local Construction Business Development Manager to help grow this division by building relationships, finding new opportunities, and helping turn leads into real projects.

Position Overview

The Construction Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new construction opportunities, building relationships with property managers, owners, developers, general contractors, real estate groups, and commercial clients.

This role is for someone who understands construction, knows how to talk to customers, and is comfortable getting out in the market. The right person does not need to be an estimator or project manager, but they do need to understand enough about construction to identify opportunities, ask the right questions, walk a jobsite, and help move a potential project from first conversation to proposal.

This is a growth role. We need someone who can help build the pipeline, follow up consistently, and represent the company professionally.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and comfortable talking with people in the construction and real estate world. This person should be able to build trust, follow up without being pushed, and understand that construction sales is about relationships, timing, and consistency.

We are looking for someone who is hungry to grow the division, not someone who just wants to wait for leads to come in.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
