Job description

Terravita Country Club, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Property Controller! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $120,000- $135,000 (Depending on Experience), eligible for 10%performace based bonus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial statements, reports, and forecasts, including audit and tax packages, in accordance with policy and in partnership with course and organizational leadership.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed variance reports and recommend action plans.
  • Prepare and post all journal entries for monthly close, year-end adjustments, and audit activities.
  • Maintain detailed work papers for balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and expense analyses, and account activity.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely, accurate payments and collections; report on cash flow and liquidity trends.
  • Manage vendor invoicing, contracts, and budget tracking for capital and operational expenditures.
  • Supervise monthly and annual bank reconciliations, credit card transaction reviews, and inventory accounting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and chart of accounts.
  • Partner with golf operations, retail, F&B, and administrative leaders to support department-level financial performance and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of the annual operating and capital budgets.

Previous assistant controller or current controller experience
