Assistant Property Manager
Providence, RI
$65,000 – $75,000+ / year
OVERVIEW
A growing and highly respected real estate management company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support operations across a geographically concentrated mixed-use portfolio in Providence, RI. This role supports both multifamily and commercial properties, including several historic mill building conversions, while assisting with leasing, resident and tenant relations, financial administration, and day-to-day property operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, balancing operational and leasing responsibilities, and supporting a collaborative property management team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support daily operations across a mixed-use portfolio consisting of multifamily and commercial properties
Assist with leasing activities including tours, applications, renewals, and resident follow-up
Help maintain strong occupancy levels and support resident and tenant retention efforts
Assist with delinquency tracking, collections follow-up, and account management
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion
Conduct regular property walks to help maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and operational standards
Maintain resident, tenant, vendor, and property records with strong attention to detail
Assist with financial reporting, budgeting support, and operational documentation
Support communication with residents, commercial tenants, vendors, and internal teams
Utilize Yardi Breeze Premier for property management, reporting, and operational tracking
Help ensure properties operate efficiently and consistently across the portfolio
