Job description

Job Description Summary

Meets and greets guests of the casino to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained by answering all guest inquiries concerning casino promotions, live entertainment, special events, and casino amenities. Enhance the growth of gaming revenues through the development of a targeted customer base by building relationships with premium-valued guests

 Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in a casino customer service position.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, be computer literate, have the ability to work with all departments, and have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Act as property ambassador for guests, providing outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees. Provide the highest level of ongoing guest service resolving applicable guest concerns and inquiries.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and be able to explain games offered by the casino.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all casino promotions, including but not limited to rules and guidelines for guest participation, the location where guests can enter the promotions and advise guests accordingly.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all services and amenities. Know the casino layout in order to assist customers in locating such services as restrooms, cash cage, table games areas, cafe, specific slot machines games, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing and the casino guest, communicating with both to expedite customer requests.
  • Identify, initiate, and foster relationships with new and loyal guests that are deemed developmental.
  • Enhance growth of gaming revenues by developing internal players identified by the Player Development Manager.
  • Perform various customer service and marketing functions as directed.
  • May assist security with I.D. checks when necessary.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment

Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
